Re: Stealth shelf
Loving your stealth shelf, im now doing a speaker board build of my own. But its more of an "anti stealth/ look at my big speakers, shelf" lol.
I have built two large pods to fit 6X9s in, they lift up out of the shelf and face the cab. Both speakers are angled slightly inward. I have also stretched accoustic fleace over the speaker board and pods to give a nice rounded look. tomorrow im going out to purchase an absolute heap load of fibreglass, resin and hardener. I'm then going to fibreglass the whole thing so its solid before wraping it all up in more accoustic matting to finish.

Re: Stealth shelf
Looking good, did you have to sand it much to fit?
if your running 6x9s under the seat best run just the larger of the two speakers on the rear shelf, if you parallel them you might hurt the stereo and putting them in series will probably lessen the sound.
Basically keep it one speaker per output of the radio

Re: Stealth shelf
Didnt have to sand much off to get a snug fit its all fitted and glued now and wired up as it was, next weekend im going to paint/varnish it and cover it if i can my hands on some fabric ive decided to remove the sub, but will proberly keep the amp and power cap but move them in to the boot once i have the boot tidy kit and then i got to re-wire the whole system till i get it right
