Mini World Action Day @ Castle Coombe

Saturday 25th September is Mini worlds action day at Castle Coombe......we can get a club stand and track time for £12.00 per person.....need a minimum of 10 places.....and need to send off the application ASAP now!!!

[b]Major problem.........insurance....

sorry guys this is gonna have to be called off...unless we can get insurance....I have looked about and found one that would be ok....£146.00 this would also then mean that we could organise our own proper event...we could do this is everyone chipped in a little cash.......thoughts??

If we dont have this then I will give everyone who has paid thier money back and we will just have to go to castle coombe individually and pay £30 on the day.

It's still cheaper if we split that between 10 of us 14.60 each 4 that n 12 for event is 26.60 so still better

im happy to pay the money for the insurance. What does it cover? Do we have to be a certain age or anythin?

It covers us as a club for up to £1million public liablity....in case anyone hurts themselves by us or our display stands etc...means we can have banners, table and merchandise and means we can have a show of our own....we have to have a first aider....which I am more than happy to do as I have done it hundreds of times before. I will get the details as soon as possible.

I'm sure with all the members in the club is shouldn't take much to come up with the insurance money especially if it will cover having a show in the area and for the chi club to get reconized more in the mini community

ok I have had some feedback and it seems that most are happy to pay for insurance.....do I will get a firm quote sorted and post ASAP, but looks like it be about £15.00 between the 10 of us or obviouslty less if others want to chip in!

Ok.....for one million liablity for 6 events per year and £5000 property comes in at £266.00 per year with an excess of £250.00

or the same but without property cover is £146.00

Im gonna check tomorrow that we are not too late and if we can still get them then I need another 15 quid off everyone for the insurance ASAP. I wont be at mays meet so i need you to drop it to me.....

OK guys I have checked and we can still go aheads with this, I need a few more people to get the numbers up and EVERYONE who wants to go needs to pay another £15 to me for insurance....this will cover us as a club all year at events (including ours)

Can I pay u next month instead? I'm really broke ATM and work have just messed up my pay to make it worse.... Would really appriciate it

No worries Becki, pay me when you can...I can get the insurance anytime as long as we show it to them on the day. You have already paid your place. I spoke to Seward today and said that I heard another mini was coming in and they were like "oh!....er yeah...." as if to say SHIT!!!
