Hello fellow mini enthusiasts, I am Dave from Selsey, bit of an old git really. Nearly 50!!
I have just bought a 1992 mini 1000 mayfair project cheaply from a friend at work. It starts and drives but needs bodywork, I am quite handy with a mig welder so no probs there then? I have been a mechanic for over 30 years but this is my first mini, I quite like them. The previous owner has done some bits to it, some good and some really bad, some of the body repairs are horrendous. It has a 3 branch lcb, mini spares inlet manifold, k+n air filter, minilites etc.
I need a rear subframe if anyone can help?
I am prepared to help like minded people out if you get stuck.

no luck on the rear sub-frame, i will be looking for one soon as i reckon mine will need replacing for next's mot ... just had it welded to pass last week
