This weekend has been quite productive and I've got a few bits done:

New grill care of Jim...not sure if he will ask for it back Smile
    Removed the fog lamps
    K&N Air filter Element

I also have brought some chrome washer jets and drivers side wing mirror, passenger side on its way Smile

What I still have to achieve is:

    SportsPack Side Skirts
    Full Respray & Rust removal
    Remove Cooper Stripes
    Central Locking
    Change to 12s
    Minitastic coil springs

Please see pics below for the changes:

    I love you

vtecs are like waiting for bad sex,you wait for ages for it to kick in then when it does its over in a second.lol.good in a straight line terrible in the twistys.

but then im a massive lover of keeping it a series, the way its meant to be. Razz

K series is much cheaper to do and you have a choice of 1.4 16v, 1.6 16v, 1.8 16v and 1.8 16v vvc which is similar to a vtec not quite as much power 143bhp standard but much much more torquey. have you seen me floor it in my mums rover before? it aint slow that has a vvc engine

i think vtecs are common, they handle like shit cos weight distribution fucks up, stay a series with kad 16v head and straight cut would be better lol

the land rover HG makes no difference, we ran a k series freelander for 140k. Its the head dowls that are the problem, nothing to do with the gasket itself.

im not fan the old k series cause i work on the rovers n mg and landrover brange out a better gasket which we use now but the common prob is there linners burn away and can only skim em so far before nocks the timeing out haha
