    Hilo issue

Post  understeer into wood on Tue Jan 11, 2011 12:44 am

Yesterday I played with the ride hieght of the rear hilos. I'm not entirely convinced it's correct, it looks too high, however if I adjust them any lower and then jack the back of the car up the radius arm swings down to the limit of the shock and the hilos go slack againts the rubber doughnut and fall out. Sad Do I need shorter shocks?

I'm not sure as yet what will happen with the front suspension as it hasn't got the wight of the engine in it yet.

Can someone please offer some advice?

Yeah i have spax but i didn't get the lowered ones. I have emailes Minispares to ask if they can do a swap as they have done no milage. otherwise I will have to buy them and sell the standard hieght on.
