Just thought i'd make a post about my clubman estate i bought last year, It is in need of full restoration, sills, inner sills, rear window channels, A pannels, Inner A panels, end of scuttles, wings patching, front valance patching, rear valance, engine rebuild (was almost seized)
Nad im hoping to achieve, well at least road worthy with an MOT by september..
Should be fun, here are some pics..

    Hey,
I was able to find some time this Easter to do a bit more on the clubby.
I had already stripped the car down, taken the offside A panel off and stripped out the offside rear window as the runners and surrounds were shot. I have cut away all of the rusty metal and welded in some new, I haven't skimmed it over yet, Its just primer on metal Smile
Here is the repaired rear side so far.. ( i have made the surrounds up again, just need to be welded in place)
    From this:

    To this:

I also took the front wing off to see the condition there..

(i think i need new inner a panels)

    doorstep shot..

    So is the inner sill
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And the outer sill is virtually non existent Smile

Just need to get some panels now, then the tear-down can begin Twisted Evil

I apologise in advance for the shit quality photos,
Over the last week, i have cut away half of the step and the inner sill and started to weld some fresh metal in. Once that is done, i can do my new inner A panels which i purchased at L2B..
    Piccys..

Hats off to you mate, looks like you got yourself a nice little challange there Smile looks like it is coming along nicely... How long do you reckon before you complete the bodywork?
Give me I shout if you need any bits, I still got a few bits left over in my garage (many carbs/manifolds even a spare door)

Sorry no panel's just a passenger door bodywork wise, only other body stuff I had was a fibreglass flip front end but that went on eBay the other month, which came off my mini before I had the front rebuilt :s
